Model Parameters

Model Parameters.

  • Type of Period defines if the model is run on a monthly, quarterly, semester or annual basis.
  • Number of Periods defines the model horizon.
  • Use Period - Starting Year and Period - Starting Month to indicate the start of the project.
  • Categories - Revenue - specify how many revenue categories are included in the model. For example, if you have 5 different types of products with different prices, then select 5 for Revenue Categories.
  • Categories - Costs - specify how many cost categories are included in the model. For example, if you have 3 different types of costs (say, staff, offices and services), then select 3 for Cost Categories.
  • Capex Items - defines the number of capital items that you will need to depreciate.
  • Number of Loans - specifies how many loan will the project take. If the loan has multiple tranches then consider them as separate loans.
  • Currency defines the currency of the analysis.
  • Show Results in - specify if the output is desired in units, thousands, millions or billions.
